Working in an international company has its food perks! A colleague suggested that we start an asian “themed” lunch every friday. Taking turns to prepare dishes from our country. This is an awesome idea because that was how I started cooking korean and japanese food at home! Anyways this time I decided to put in more effort in making something more “Singaporean”. Fried Bee...

A friend of ours introduced bulgur to us a couple of months ago and since then we could not get enough of it. It is the next best thing after rice! Its also more affordable and readily available in Germany, since there are plenty of turkish shops peppered all over the city, more than asian shops at least! To be honest, we cannot be certain what type of cuisine this is. As much as I would like to claim...

Look what we made with the second half of our homemade pasta dough! Ravioli. This is the first time we made Ravioli so pardon the imperfections. It is either chicken soup ( western style) or rice porridge. I like rice porridge more because my mum always insist that there is something in the rice porridge water that helps with the healing.  ...

Oh well I would not call this a recipe recipe. Apologies for the deceiving title! This is a quick solution if all you have is some arrabiata pasta sauce sitting around and defrosted fish.   ...

This is our second time making our version of italian sandwich. With the temperatures soaring, this is the perfect summer sandwich. Eaten together with a glass of chilled white wine, I felt like nothing else in the world matters. Just my sandwich and I. ...

This is our new favourite Sunday brunch. Waffle with crispy bacon and maple syrup. ...
