You may or may not have realised that the Husband is a big fan of burgers. Today my baking skills has been put into good use. Homemade Burger Buns! Yes they are surprisingly easy to make and I am sure all of you have the ingredients lying around. Why not bake some burger buns for your next burger party?
There really isn’t anything you need to do to make this apart from mixing and kneading the dough. It sure does take up a couple of hours that day but you will definitely not be disappointed with the results.
These burger buns have double the egg wash, which leaves them shiny and crispy on the outside but soft on the inside. The recipe is actually for 10 sliders which makes them perfect for a party. Your guests will be able to mix and match burger the sides they would like to have in their burger, like eggs, lettuce, tomato, mayonnaise, ketchup and the list goes on. If you need more burger inspirations you should definitely check out our burger recipes!
This is actually the first time I discovered the wonders of having a Kitchen Machine. It sure helped with the preparation process. I basically fit the dough hook and let the machine do the work for about 10mins while I went about doing my business. Then went back and keand for about 5 mins. I think the dough hook can’t really replace the kneading process.
