Home after 7pm and not in the mood to cook?¬†This recipe is for all you lazy people out there! WE have our lazy days too when we don’t feel like cooking, especially after work on a weeknight. Grilled cheese always works. This “recipe” is Spring onion (green onion, however you call it) with salami and cheddar.¬†
Ultimate comfort food Grilled Chedder and Salami Did you know that spring onion and melted cheese are actually best friends? We don’t usually see spring onion as the star in a dish. They always play the supporting role but without it you will notice something missing, kinda like salt and pepper? I have no idea what I am rumbling about but yea the point is this is really good! The spring onion balances the saltiness of the cheese and salami.

But really who needs a recipe for grilled cheese? If you have any awesome combination that we should try. Let us know!

In the meantime this is what we have for you guys today.

Sour dough bread

spring onion, chopped

Generously butter one side of a slice of bread

Place bread butter-side-down onto skillet bottom and add sliced of cheddar, salami and sprinkle spring onion.

Butter a second slice of bread on one side and place butter-side-up on top of sandwich.

Grill until lightly browned and flip over; continue grilling until cheese is melted.

Enjoy with a bottle of cold beer!
